This Return Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds, cancellations, and returns related to photography services provided by Vornshap. Please read this policy carefully before booking our services.

Service Nature

Professional photography services are personalized and custom in nature. Unlike physical products, photography sessions involve dedicated time, professional expertise, and scheduling commitments. Due to the nature of our service-based business, our return and refund policies differ from traditional product returns.

Once a photography session has been completed and final edited images have been delivered, the service is considered fulfilled and is not eligible for return or refund based on subjective preferences. However, we are committed to client satisfaction and will work with you to address any legitimate concerns about the quality or delivery of our services.

Return Period

For session deposits and advance payments made prior to the photography session, cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to the contact address provided at the end of this policy. Refund eligibility depends on the timing of the cancellation request and is subject to the terms outlined in our Cancellation Policy section below.

After a photography session has been completed and images have been delivered, no returns or refunds will be issued for completed services. Quality concerns must be raised within seven business days of receiving your final edited images to be considered for resolution.

Return Conditions

Refunds for photography services are only provided under specific circumstances and conditions. A full refund may be issued if we are unable to provide the contracted services due to circumstances within our control, such as equipment failure, photographer illness with no backup available, or our inability to fulfill the service as agreed.

Partial refunds may be considered in cases where there are documented technical issues with delivered images that cannot be corrected through re-editing, or where the service provided significantly deviated from the agreed-upon terms without client approval. Subjective dissatisfaction with style, personal appearance in photographs, or artistic interpretation does not qualify for refunds.

Return Shipping Costs

As we provide digital photography services with online delivery of final images, traditional shipping and return shipping do not apply to our core services. All final edited images are delivered digitally through a secure online gallery or electronic file transfer.

In cases where physical prints or products have been ordered as add-ons to photography packages, returns of these physical items must be initiated within fourteen days of receipt. The client is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part. Physical products must be returned in original condition to be eligible for refund.

Return Process

To request a cancellation or inquire about refund eligibility, contact us via email at the address provided at the end of this policy. Include your full name, booking confirmation number, session date, and a detailed explanation of your request. All refund requests must be submitted in writing to be considered.

We will review your request and respond within three business days. If your request is approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within seven to ten business days. Please note that it may take additional time for your financial institution to process and post the refund to your account.

Non-Returnable Items

The following are not eligible for returns or refunds: completed photography sessions where images have been delivered, digital image files that have been downloaded or accessed, custom editing or retouching work that has been completed, travel fees for on-site sessions that have already occurred, rush processing fees for expedited delivery that has been completed, and consultation time that has already been provided.

Additionally, services booked at discounted or promotional rates may have modified cancellation and refund terms as specified at the time of booking. Gift certificates and promotional credits are non-refundable once purchased.

General Legal Requirements

This Return Policy complies with applicable federal and state consumer protection laws. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights as a consumer where applicable. In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for certain types of damages, our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.

We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel bookings at our discretion. In cases where we initiate cancellation, a full refund of any payments made will be issued promptly. This policy does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection legislation.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than fourteen days before the scheduled session date are eligible for a full refund minus a twenty-five dollar administrative fee. Cancellations made seven to fourteen days before the scheduled session date are eligible for a fifty percent refund of the session fee. Cancellations made less than seven days before the scheduled session date are not eligible for refund.

Rescheduling is permitted without penalty if requested at least forty-eight hours before the scheduled session time, subject to availability. No-shows without prior notification result in forfeiture of the entire session fee. In cases of documented emergencies or unforeseen circumstances, we will work with clients to find a reasonable solution.

Refund Procedure

Once a refund request has been approved, we will initiate the refund to your original payment method. The refund amount will reflect any applicable deductions as outlined in this policy, such as administrative fees or non-refundable components. You will receive email confirmation once the refund has been processed.

Credit card refunds typically appear within seven to ten business days, though the exact timing depends on your card issuer. Bank transfers may take slightly longer depending on your financial institution. If you do not receive your refund within the expected timeframe, please contact your financial institution first before reaching out to us.

Dispute Resolution

We are committed to resolving any concerns or disputes amicably and professionally. If you are dissatisfied with our services or have concerns about the delivered images, please contact us immediately so we can work toward a resolution. In many cases, concerns can be addressed through re-editing, additional retouching, or other accommodations.

If we are unable to reach a mutually satisfactory resolution through direct communication, you may pursue resolution through the dispute resolution procedures outlined in our Terms of Use. We encourage open communication and will make reasonable efforts to address legitimate concerns.

Changes to Return Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this Return Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Return Policy.

Bookings made before policy changes will be governed by the Return Policy in effect at the time of booking. We recommend reviewing this policy periodically to stay informed of any updates or modifications.
